We have become the prostitues of the corporate world, We sell ourselves for next to nothing and come back for more, with out considering the implications of our actions, or dont care about them. Unlike artists, designers are rooted in the corporate world, where the bottom line is the bottom line. and the aestetic might not be considered. It's not about the select few amazing designs that are out there, but the cheap and nasty which surround us constantly, but there are people, designers, who are doing it for peanuts, and corporates who are happy to pay nothing for a designer, and the general who dont care. would or have you done work for Macdonalds ? Have you sold yourself short? do you notice designs like this submission ? what will you do for money ? ... so a artist can starve, but a designer can't ?
